Fred Paquin, the former police chief for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Michigan, and his daughter, Mary Cullen, are scheduled to go trial on April 27 on charges they stole from the tribe.
Paquin and Cullen allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars while Paquin served as police chief and on the board of directors for the tribe. Cullen worked in the police department under Paquin.
Pre-trial proceedings start April 15.
