The White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians of Minnesota is reportedly interested in acquiring a former state health center.
The tribe is impressed with the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center, a lobbyist said. "It's going to be quite a project," Bill Haas told The Brainerd Dispatch.
The tribe would house health, chemical dependency, mental health and education programs at the center. About 200 to 300 people would work there.
