Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation launches web site
The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut finally has its own web site. Treasurer James Jackson told The New London Day that the tribe "has been a little behind the times in developing a strong Web presence for itself." So she decided to put up information about the tribal government, tribal history and tribal culture. The tribe has separate sites dedicated to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Laws and its two gaming facilities, Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
