The president of the Shiprock Chapter on the Navajo Nation faces an ethics hearing on Thursday, The Farmington Daily Times reports.
William Lee used chapter funds to buy a motorcycle for personal use, according to a complaint filed by secretary Lula Jackson. Lee apparently returned the $8,500 but Lee says he should apologize and forfeit his chapter meeting stipends for a month.
Lee's hearing takes place in Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation.
