The Navajo Nation reported a third weather-related fatality.
An 88-year-old woman was found dead in New Mexico after she left her home to visit her sister. Her vehicle got stuck in the road and she continued on foot.
The winter storm affected many on the reservation. President Barack Obama
signed a declaration
of emergency last week to cover parts of the Navajo Nation in Arizona.
