Mr. Las Vegas, otherwise known as entertainer Wayne Newton, is supporting his tribe's bid to gain recognition in Virginia.
Newton is a member of the Patawomeck Indians. He will testify at a hearing today on a bill to recognize the tribe.
Robert "Two Eagles" Green, the chief of the tribe, is Newton's cousin. He arranged for the testimony.
