A boy on the Canoe Lake First Nation in Saskatchewan died after being attacked by a pack of dogs.
The boy was walking from his home to his cousin's when he was mauled. He was identified as Keith Iron-Cheekosis. His age was reported as 9 or 10 years old.
"It was shocking to me to see him lying there in the snow," Cynthia Ballantyne, Keith's aunt, told The Globe and Mail. "I couldn't sleep. I just can't close my eyes. They must have jumped him.
Another boy on the reserve was attacked by dogs last week. Residents say the dogs are a growing problem.
