The Interior Department has moved this week's tribal consultation session to a new location.
The session will take place Wednesday, December 2, at the Hilton Hotel Anchorage Alaska from 9 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The meeting is the first in a series around the country. Tribes will be asked about the Interior's existing policy and how it should be changed.
At the White House Tribal Nations Conference earlier this month, President Barack Obama
directed all federal agencies to come up with a tribal consultation policy
within 90 days. He also requested a progress report within a year.
