The National Museum of the
American Indian is hosting a symposium at 3pm today as part of the IndiVisible: African-Native American Lives in the Americas exhibition.
Speakers include Robert Keith Collins (African and Choctaw descent), Penny Gamble-Williams (Chappaquiddick Wampanoag), Angela Gonzalez (Hopi), Judy Kertész, and Tiya Miles.
National Museum of African American
History and Culture Director Lonnie G. Bunch III will deliver opening remarks and NMAI Director Kevin Gover (Pawnee) will moderate the panel.
The symposium will be webcast on the NMAI site.
