A poll commissioned by Santa Fe County, New Mexico, found little support for a Pueblo water rights settlement.
According to Research and Polling, Inc., 59 percent of non-Indian residents have negative feelings about the deal.
Only 8 percent reported positive feelings.
The settlement resolves the water rights of Pojoaque Pueblo, Nambe Pueblo, Tesuque Pueblo and San Ildefonso Pueblo.
H.R.3342
and S.1105 have been cleared for votes in the House and the Senate.
