Grand Ronde man suspected of kidnapping son
A member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Oregon is suspected of taking his 3-year-old son after losing custody of the boy. Reginald Beavis and his wife, Shawna Beavis, who is non-Indian, lost custody of Ashton Lee Beavis last month. The tribe's court said the couple failed to complete a drug treatment program. Authorities believe the couple may have taken Ashton to Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon, or Nevada. Anyone with information is urged to call police in Keizer, Oregon, at (503) 390-3713.
