Two 16-year-olds have been arrested in connection with the beating death of another teen on the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation in Manitoba.
Dakota Garth Hunter, 17, was found along the side of a road on Saturday. He died after being transported to an area hospital.
"He got beaten up really bad, is what I heard," his aunt, Colleen Hunter, told The Winnipeg Sun. "They dragged him down a hill and tried to burn his clothes."
Hunter had been profiled by CBC News in 2004 because he had been bullied by other youth on the reserve.
