San Manuel man plays for hometown crowd
Raymond Galvan, a member of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, performed at the Rock the Bells hip-hop festival on Saturday. Galvan, whose stage name is Short Dawg Tha Native, rapped about reservation life and his love for California. "I'm hoping they take away that a Native American can do something," he told The Riverside Press-Enterprise. The festival took place at the San Manuel Amphitheater. The San Manuel Band bought the naming rights to the facility last year. Get the Story:
