Crow Tribe opens natural gas production wells
The Crow Tribe of Montana began producing natural gas for the first time. The tribe partnered with Ursa Major of Oklahoma to drill seven gas wells on the reservation. More wells are planned as the tribe taps into its energy reserves. "The Creator has blessed us and put is in the right place in terms of all the natural resources that we have," said Chairman Cedric Black Eagle, The BIllings Gazette reported. The tribe plans to open a $7.5 billion coal-to-liquid plant on the reservation and is considering coalbed methane development. Get the Story:
