The Navajo Code Talkers Association is moving forward with plans for a museum and veterans center thanks to a donation from Chevron.
The association received 208 acres from the company at a ceremony on Friday. "These are some of America's heroes," said Chevron Mining President Fred Nelson, the Associated Press reported.
The land is located along a highway in western New Mexico, not far from the Navajo Nation capitol in Window Rock, Arizona.
