Lou White Eagle, a member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, says he was mistreated at a Little Caesars pizzeria in Tennessee.
White Eagle, 63, says he was forced to wait longer than other customers for his meal. "I just got up and felt if they are not going to serve me, I might as well leave," he tells WSMV-TV. "I feel this place is very prejudiced."
White Eagle later called the manager to complain and overheard employees making fun of him. "He yelled, 'Its Jennifer's Native American jackass on the phone,'" he said of the employee who answered the phone.
WSMV-TV contacted the eatery, whose owner said White Eagle wasn't forced to wait as long he claimed. He said he has taken action against the employee who made the "jackass" comment.
