A tribal appeals court will hear a power dispute between the chairman and the tribal council of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa
Indians of North Dakota.
Chairman Richard Marcellais has been suspended from office for "harassing" the tribal council. In turn, he has tried to suspend the tribal council but a judge said he didn't have that power.
The appeals court hearing will take place next Thursday, July 30.
