The tribal headquarters of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa Indians of Minnesota was destroyed by fire early Monday morning.
No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. But the tribe lost everything to the blaze.
"This is a huge loss to our tribal government functions. We have displaced employees now," Corey Strong, the tribe's acting director, told FOX 12 News.
The tribe is set to break ground on a new community center on August 21.
