The Pascua Yaqui Tribe donated $100,000 to the Southern Arizona Red Cross.
The money will be used to help people in Pima Country and tribal members.
"In today's economy and with donations to the Red Cross dangerously low, the ability to serve children and families in need couldn't have come at a better time," the chapter's executive director said in a press release, The Arizona Daily Star reported.
The American Red Cross helps families after major disasters.
