Derrick Bass, a member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, pleaded guilty in connection with the death of his brother.
Bass pleaded guilty to manslaughter and using a weapon to commit a violent crime. He admitted to shooting his brother, Marcus, in the stomach on July 9, 2008.
Marcus Bass died at a hospital 10 days after the incident. The brothers were twins, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
