Jury gets case of Navajo man shot by police officer
Testimony wrapped up in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of a Navajo Nation man who was shot and killed by a police officer in Farmington, New Mexico.

Clint John, 21, was killed in June 2006. Officers were responding to a domestic violence call when they said he tried to attack them.

John's family says officer Shawn Scott used excessive force. Witnesses for the defense said they saw John approach Scott but they couldn't agree how John was using a baton.

The lawsuit was heard in federal court.
