The Barona Band of Mission Indians of California is offering a scholarship students who are pursuing degrees in environmental studies.
The tribe will offer four finalists $1,000, with one receiving an extra $1,000. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in fields related to horticulture, turf-grass management, natural resources management or environmental science.
The deadline to apply for the Barona Sustainable Environment Scholarship is July 15.
