The Indian Health Service confirmed a case of the H1N1 virus, commonly
known as swine flu, on the Navajo Nation.
The patient recovered after being treated last week, the chief medical officer for the Navajo region of the IHS said. But the agency wouldn't divulge any details about the case, other than to say the person lived in Arizona and was not of school age.
Only a few cases of the virus have been reported in Indian Country.
