The Senate voted 65-31 on Tuesday to confirm former Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius (D) as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human
Services.
Sebelius left Kansas and was immediately sworn in to focus on the swine flu crisis. She is the last of President Barack Obama's Cabinet nominees to be confirmed.
At HHS, Sebelius will oversee the Indian Health Service. The Senate Indian Affairs
Committee votes on the nomination of Yvette Roubideaux to be director of the IHS at a business meeting tomorrow.
