Salazar to speak at CERT summit in Washington
Interior Secretary Ken
Salazar will deliver the keynote at an upcoming Council of Energy Resource Tribes summit in Washington, D.C.
The summit takes place on Wednesday, March 4. It will focus on tribal energy issues and global warming.
"Tribes want to develop their natural resources to benefit their communities and families both economically and socially but, at the same time, they want the resources available to help all Americans toward energy security," said CERT executive director David Lester.
The summit will be held during the 2009 executive council winter session of the National Congress of American Indians.
