Two teens from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota died of apparent exposure, authorities said.

Mariah Roundtree, 17, and Jalen Mellette, were last seen on February 8. Their bodies were found on Sunday, on the nearby Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.

Authorities believe the teens were trying to find help while traveling on a cold and rainy night. Their bodies were found about four miles from their abandoned car.

Roundtree was five months pregnant, her mother said.
