A Navajo Nation man faces a manslaughter charge for driving a car into a crowd of people and causing the death of one person.
Julian Begay, 24, allegedly confessed to driving his car into a crowd of about 12 people on February 6. Leland McDonald died on the scene of injuries sustained from the impact, the U.S. Attorney in New Mexico said.
A second man who was struck by the car also died of his injuries but Begay hasn't been charged in connection with that death. Four other people were hospitalized.
