Shooting troubles attendees of Lakota tournament
Attendees of the Lakota Nation Invitational in South Dakota are worried that a shooting that took place outside the event could be gang-related. Shane Bordeaux, 20, was shot three times outside the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena in Rapid City. Police aren't saying what may have led to the shooting but they believe Bordeaux knew the alleged assailant. "It's probably gang-related, and if it is, it could happen again," Anthony Four, a senior from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, told The Rapid City Journal. Police have identified a suspect but haven't taken anyone into custody. Tribal and Bureau of Indian Affairs officers are providing additional security for the popular event. Get the Story:
