The Blackfeet Nation of Montana is distributing $3.3 million in per capita payments this year.

Each of the 16,500 tribal members will receive a $200 check. That's the largest payment in decades, according to The Great Falls Tribune.

"In the last election, voters demanded change and demanded that the new council lead the Blackfeet back to prosperity and accountability," Chairman Willie Sharp Jr told the paper.
