An 18-year-old has been charged in federal and tribal court in connection with the death of a nun on the Navajo Nation.
The FBI wouldn't name the individual but newspapers identified the man as Reehahlio Carroll. He reportedly told investigators that he killed Sister Marguerite Bartz, 64, after she caught him trying to burglarize the convent where she lived.
Bartz was killed on the night of October 31 or the morning of November 1.The convent where she lived is located in Navajo, on the New Mexico-Arizona state line near Gallup, New Mexico.
