NCAI heads to Palm Springs for conference
The National Congress of American Indians hosts its 66th annual conference in Palm Springs, California, next week.

Upwards of 3,000 people are expected to attend the event. Participants will hear from state and federal officials and get updates on U.S. Supreme Court cases, jurisdiction and other issues.

The conference takes place October 11-16 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The gala banquet will be held Thursday night on October 15.

Palm Springs is home to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.
