The Senate Indian Affairs Committee has scheduled three additional roundtables to discuss Indian energy.
Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the chairman, and Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyoming), the vice chairman, released a concept paper earlier this month in anticipation of Indian energy legislation.
The primary goals are to help tribes develop their resources and to promote energy efficiency in Indian Country.
The schedule for the roundtables follows:
