Interior Secretary Ken
Salazar and Larry EchoHawk, the new leader of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, are in Utah today for a press conference.
According to the Interior Department, the two officials will be joined by the Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Utah and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They will talk about a "significant law enforcement action targeting the theft of archaeological and cultural artifacts from public and Indian lands in the Four Corners area."
The press conference takes place at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Salt Lake City at 1pm Mountain Time.
