Crow Tribe holds primary for vice chairman's post
The Crow Tribe of Montana holds a primary election on Saturday for the post of vice chairman.

Darrin Old Coyote, Newton "JR" Old Crow, Calvin "Coolidge" Jefferson Jr., and John Dale Dust are vying for the post. The two top vote-getters will advance to the June 20 general election.

The post is open because former vice chairman Cedric Black Eagle was elected chairman in April. Black Eagle succeeded the late Carl Venne, who died on February 15 at the age of 62.
