Town to discuss jail with Tohono O'odham Nation
Leaders from the town of Sahuarita, Arizona, will meet with the Tohono O'odham Nation on May 7 to discuss a proposed jail facility that has drawn significant opposition in the community.

Town leaders hope to convince the tribe to move the location of the facility. They are encouraging residents to keep an open dialog about the plans.

The tribe said the facility will mainly house people who are being returned to their countries of origin. Serious criminals probably won't be held there, according to the tribe.

The town has created a section on its website for information about the facility.
