OST offers will and estate planning sessions
The Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians is offering three more will and estate planning sessions for Indian beneficiaries in Oklahoma
The first one was held in Concho on February 19. Future sessions are scheduled for March 24 Anadarko, another one Concho on April 16 and another in Anadarko on April 24.
"Many of the beneficiaries who had wills drafted at the first session said they were thankful for the opportunity," said Henry Ware, a fiduciary trust officer in Concho. "They told me that without this service, they wouldn’t know where else to go."
The sessions are sponsored by OST, Oklahoma City University, the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes.
OST is preparing more meetings in Oklahoma in September and October.
