Winnebago Yankee treats family to Disney vacation
A family from Lincoln, Nebraska, was treated to a vacation at Disney World by New York Yankees player Joba Chamberlain, a member of the Winnebago Tribe. Jazmin Meyer-King, 11, said meeting Chamberlain was the best part of the trip to Florida. “He told me he was proud of me," Meyer-King, a standout student at Clinton Elementary, told The Lincoln Journal Star. Chamberlain said he takes a family on vacation because he never had one when he was growing up. He was raised in a single-parent home by his father, Harlan Chamberlain. Get the Story:
