The Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa is leaving its members in the dark about a bank purchase, according to a lawsuit in state court.
Six tribal members filed suit in hopes of stopping the purchase of the Pinnacle Bank in Marshalltown. “Being left out in the dark, we figured this was the best way to see if tribal finances have been expended for the bank,” Ray Young Bear told he Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier.
