Federal authorities announced indictments against 24 people who are accused of operating a methamphetamine ring out of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation in North Dakota.
The meth was allegedly brought from Mexico the reservation for distribution elsewhere.
Seven men and two women already pleaded guilty for their roles in the conspiracy.
“This is a very active investigation,” said U.S. Attorney Drew Wrigley, The Fargo Forum reported.
The investigation, known as Operation Paint By Numbers, began two years ago after a meth seizure in Fargo.
