Letter: Treatment of Indians similar to Holocaust
"The American Indian suffered the same tragedy and horror through war, pestilence and starvation mostly. This horrible crime travels along silently with no recognition or effort. These Americans suffer while most immigrants are welcomed.

What must the American Indian do to receive some restitution? Would it help to publicize horrid pictures? If I rub the American people's nose in it, would that help?

What is it going to take for Americans to realize what they have done by dehumanizing this race?

Yes, it did happen. Now, how are we going to fix it to the best of our ability?

Native Americans are people, for God's sake. They were people before they were drunk, unhealthy, unemployed or ignorant."
