Two members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe won election to the South Dakota Legislature. Kevin Killer and Ed Iron Cloud will both represent House House District 27. They attributed their victory to turnout among Indian voters. “It’s a little overwhelming, but I’m thankful for the support from Native communities," Killer told Indian Country Today.
