A business owned by a member of the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin has crossed the $100 million mark in government contracts.
Master Key Consulting, founded by Jonathan Wilber, is the largest Indian-owned firm in Maryland. After landing its first $40,000 subcontract eight years ago, the company has more than 140 employees.
"Now we have contracts totaling more than $100 million and we’re in nine federal agencies, seven states and the District of Columbia," Wilbur told Washington Technology.
The company's revenues were $16.3 million in 2005. Wilber hopes to reach $50 million by 2010.
