The nominees for the 51st annual Grammy awards were announced this week.
Five recordings are vying for "Best Native American Music Album." They are: "Songs From The Black Hills" by
Bryan Akipa; "Spo'Mo'Kin'Nan" by Black Lodge; "Red Rock" by Northern Cree; "Come To Me Great Mystery — Native American Healing Songs" by various artists and "Faith" by Kevin Yazzie.
The ceremony takes place February 8 in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast on CBS.
