Two associates of jailed lobbyist Jack Abramoff could soon be joining their former colleague.
James Hirni is expected to plead guilty for his role in the scandal. He was fired by Wal-Mart Stores Inc after being charged.
Another Abramoff associate, Todd Boulanger, left the Cassidy & Associates firm after being linked to the scandal. He has not been charged but is identified in court papers as a person of interest.
Cassidy hired Abramoff, Hirni and Boulanger after the scandal broke in spring 2004. Abramoff is serving prison time for defrauding tribal clients, bank fraud and tax fraud.
