A former police officer for the Rosebud Sioux
Tribe of South Dakota has been charged with sexually abusing a minor girl.
Daniel Kettell, 33, was indicted in federal court on one count of abusive sexual contact. The alleged incident happened when he was working on the reservation in July.
The tribal police department received a complaint about Kettell on October 1. He was placed on administrative leave without pay as an investigation was conducted. He has since been fired.
