A man from the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana pleaded not guilty in connection with the death of his six-year-old daughter.
Adrian Gary Goodbear, 33 is charged with first-degree murder for the death of Lyrik Stashia Anrita Goodbear. He is also charged with assault resulting in serous bodily injury on another person.
The indictment alleges the crimes occurred on August 31. Lyrik died at Denver Children's Hospital on August 31.
Lyrik's mother, Rikki Dawn Big Medicine, died in a car wreck April 15 on the reservation. Medicine's sister also died in the accident.
