The Seminole Tribe of Florida fired a police officer after he was charged with attempting to sexually assault his 17-year-old daughter.
Local newspapers declined to identify the man to protect the identity of the victim. A television station said the fired officer was Ronald Baker, 46. He is charged with 10 different counts in state court.
Baker worked as a police officer for local departments before joining the tribe, The Miami Herald reported.
