Will Sampson, late Muscogee actor, to be honored
The late Will Sampson will be added to the Walk of Fame at the Circle Cinema in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sampson rose to fame for his role as Chief Bromden in the film version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He went on to star in numerous movies, theater and television projects, and was known for his paintings. Sampson, who was a member of the Muscogee Nation, died in 1987 at the age of 53.
