Tanka Bar will get more national exposure at the Farm Aid concert on Saturday.

Foods, a company based on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, has been approved to sell the bar at the event in Boston. Organizers looked for healthy foods from family farms and cooperatives.
"It's a great thing for us to bring the Tanka Bar to a whole new market and show people on the East Coast what a great product buffalo is in general and from South Dakota and what a great product the Tanka Bar is for a ready-to-go food," co-owner Mark Tilsen told the Associated Press.
The bar is based on wasna, a Lakota mix of bison and berries.
