Blackfeet woman in court over death of 2-year-old son

Summer Lee Many White Horses, a member of the Blackfeet Nation of Montana, appeared in court on Monday over charges she murdered her two-year-old son.

Many White Horses, 31, is accused of deliberate homicide. Authorities say she killed her son, James, and kept him in the trunk of her car for several months.

James was last seen alive by family members on July 21. His badly decomposed body was found last week.

Many White Horses apparently told police James died in May.
